Aixa Travel Wallet does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data. Everything you enter into the app - trips, bookings, photos, notes, your Travel Card details - stays on your own device, in your own browser's storage. There is no server. There is no account. There is no database anywhere that we, or anyone else, can access.
We built it this way on purpose. If you want the longer explanation, read on.
None. Aixa has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no crash reporting service, no advertising network, and no backend server of any kind. The app cannot send your data anywhere, because it has nowhere to send it to and no code that attempts to.
Everything you enter - trip names, dates, booking details, photos, your Travel Card information, your settings - is stored locally on your own device, using your browser's standard storage features (localStorage and IndexedDB). This is the same technology any website uses to remember things like your shopping cart or login state, except in Aixa's case, nothing is ever sent onward to a server, because there isn't one.
This means:
Aixa includes features that let you generate and share an image of your Travel Card or trip details (for example, to send via WhatsApp or Messages). These work by creating an image directly on your device and handing it to your phone's normal share menu. You choose where it goes and who sees it - the app itself does not send anything anywhere on your behalf.
The Travel Friends feature stores names, notes, and photos you choose to add, for your own reference. Like everything else in the app, this information stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
No. There are no cookies, no third-party scripts, and no embedded trackers of any kind.
No. Aixa does not request or use device location/GPS at any point.
Aixa offers optional Pro features, unlocked using a redeem code. Checking a redeem code happens entirely on your own device using built-in logic - no code, account information, or usage data is sent to any server to validate it.
Aixa is not directed at children and is not designed to collect any data from anyone, regardless of age, because it does not collect data at all.
If anything about how Aixa handles data ever changes, this page will be updated, and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect that. Given the app's no-server, no-account design, we don't expect this to change.
